Who is the program for?

Tradesperson

The Trade Honours Program is designed for qualified tradespeople who are aiming to:

  • advance their careers
  • move into management
  • start their own businesses
  • undertake higher level studie
  • move into technical, supervisory, management or administration roles

The Trade Honours Program will seek to target trades that have been identified as having skill shortages and require the development of higher level skills.

The program will particularly target work areas that have limited trade related study pathway opportunities.

Graduates from the program will possess the knowledge and skills for careers such as:

  • Forman and/or supervisor
  • Technician
  • Estimator
  • Salesperson and Marketing consultant
  • Designer and consultant
  • Manager and/or administrator
  • Trade business ownership
